Here is an idea for some new SMS text messaging services:

1) A beeping system for when you are just about to collide into someone or something as you are too busy reading your text messages whilst going from A to B.

2) A special SMS text messaging services insurance, for when you step out onto the road not looking because you are too busy reading your text messages.

3) Here is one that will be a hot favorite: SMS text messaging services that sends you a copy of your husband/wife/boyfriend/girlfriend’s SMS messages! (Yes, I was thinking of a certain golfer).

There is no denying that sending and receiving SMS text messages is a huge part of our lives. In 2008, it was estimated that 4.1 trillion text messages were sent and the number grows every year. Commercially, it is also a huge business – with each message averaging US$0.11, it is certainly a big revenue generator.

For the average user though, the aim is to find the cheapest SMS messaging rates so that we do not end up with hefty bills. As I travel a lot, I decided to see if I could find something that is half the average cost internationally.
